NATO Flying Training Centre

The NATO Flying Training Centre (NFTC) program provides the resources and support to conduct Phase II Basic Flying Training operations and Phase III Jet Training at 2 CFFTS, Canadian Airbase Moose Jaw, SK.

Phase II Basic Flying Training on the Beechcraft T-6A Texan II.

Phase III with 72 hours on the BAE Hawk CT-155.

Phase VI with 50 hours on the BAE Hawk CT-155.  This Flighter Lead-In Training (FLIT) aim is to use the BAE Hawk CT-155 to provide basic tactical skills and knowledge necessary to progress through any OCU.

Graduates proceed to their individual national OCU for a front-line fighter aircraft.
