RWC - Rotary Wing Course

Rotary Wing Course is held at RSAF Squadron 124, Sembawang Airbase. Since 2005, ST Aerospace also provides the RSAF with a fleet of five EC 120 Colibri helicopters together with full technical and logistics support for RSAF's Rotary Wing Course (RWC). The RWC is part of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives of the Singapore Ministry of Defence.

The EC120 Colibri (also known as Hummingbird) is a light, single-engined helicopter developed by an industrial partnership comprising Eurocopter, the China National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corporation (CATIC) and Singapore Technologies Aerospace.

Outstanding RWC candidates also have the chance to attend their advanced training in Alabama, USA under the Initial Entry To Rotary Wing (IERW) course. These advanced wing courses usually take 6 to 12 months to complete.
