TWC - Transport Wing Course

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) Transport Wing Course (TWC) Training was outsourced to STA Engineering since 2003. The contract is for STA Engineering (ST Aerospace Engineering Pte Ltd) to train RSAF's transport pilot trainees (training for its trainee pilots until they became full-fledged transport pilots) with its own aircraft and instructor pilots.

STA Engineering maintains a Beechcraft King Air C90GTi aircraft for its training. The C90GT was fitted with 750 shp (560 kW) PT6A-135As, flat rated to the same 550 shp (410 kW) as the earlier King Airs. This engine change increased performance due to lower operating temperatures, improving both cruise speed and climb rate. With a 275 kt (509 km / h, 316 mph) cruise speed.
