The Hongdu L-15 Falcon is a supersonic Advanced Jet Trainer (AJT) aircraft and light attack aircraft being developed by Nanchang-based Hongdu Aviation Industry Corporation (HAIG) to meet China Lead-In Fighter Trainer (LIFT) requirements. Hongdu L-15 is powered by Ukraine’s Ivchenko-Progress AI-222K-25F turbofan engines with afterburner.
