Jurong Regional Library is the third and largest regional library to be launched by the National Library Board. Strategically located in the Jurong East Industrial and Business Hub, the library offers an enlarged collection of 507,000 volumes comprising 160,000 volumes of print reference materials from the National Reference Library (temporarily housed at Jurong Regional Library till the new NLB building is ready in 2005), 2,433 magazine titles, 12,000 volumes of audio-visual materials, 22,000 reels of microfilm, 64 newspaper titles and 311,000 volumes of lending books. It also has a range of new services such as the Teens Library Service and the Self-Service Lobby.

Occupying four storeys and a basement, the library building has a total floor space of 12,020 square metres, making it the largest public library in Singapore. The regional library has an extensive collection and targets those who have more specialized informational needs. Consisting of an old wing linked to the new wing by the main atrium, various features of the old building have been preserved. The old wing houses mainly the collections while activities are held in the new wing.
