General characteristics:
Rotor diameter: 20 ft 0 in (6.10 m)
Length: 12 ft 11 in (3.94 m)
Height: 9 ft 8.5 in (2.96 m)
Weight: 1,154 lb (524 kg)
Max takeoff weight: 2,285 lb (1,036 kg)

The Gyrodyne QH-50 DASH (Drone Anti-Submarine Helicopter) was a small unmanned remote-controlled helicopter built by Gyrodyne Company of America in 1959for use as a long-range anti-submarine weapon on ships that would otherwise be too small to operate a full-sized helicopter.378 QH-50Cwere built before production ended in 1966.

DASH's control scheme had two controllers, one on the flight deck, and another in the combat information center. The flight-deck controller would handle take-off and landing. The controller in the Combat Information Center (CIC) would fly DASH to the target's location and release weapons using semi-automated controls and radar.

Co-axial Counter-rotating double blades system. Easy to fly with simple operation, designed for beginner. Ready to fly out of box. Digital servo with precise movements and sensitive reaction, efficient in control. Simple structure of landing skid ensures convenient adjustment and maintenance. This combined with two digital servos, ensures rapid response, precise control and nimbler movement. With this system, several flyers can operate simultaneously within the same area, ensuring a safe and fun flying experience.

Main rotor diameter : 460mm
Length: 510.2mm
Width: 92mm
Height: 100mm
Weight: 400g
Main motor: 370motor (2 pcs installed)

gain (sensitive) = gyro adjustment, helps keep the tail steady in flight andnot swinging left to right. too much sensitive, the tail will wag. back off a minus (-) until it is gone, not too much.

proportional = adjusts the speed of the motors to keep the heli facing in one direction and not drifting left (-) minus or right (+) plus on the screw. if the trim tab is all the way to the right/left and it is still turning, adjust thescrew just a little until it stop.
Turn the proportional - (negative) to make the nose go more left.
turn the proportional + (positive) to make the nose go more right.

if you adjust the pot screw on any of the two, disconnect power fromthe heli, make slight adjustment at a time and bind your heli to checkthe results by test flight indoors. follow this process for everyadjustment or it won't work.

If you're getting drift without yaw and can't get enough out of the trim lever, it's probably time to adjust the linkage from the servo tothe swash plate. Observe which servo moves when you change the needed trim, and the direction it moves. Power down the heli and pop the balllink off the swashplate, then turn it in the direction that will movethe swashplate in the direction it needs to go (the link is threadedand effectively makes the linkage effectively longer or shorter as youturn the ball link). Pop the ball link back together, and check theresults.

Standard method:
1. Ensure that your servos are centred with the Tx and power down.
2. Check that the servo arms are at 90deg to the links. If not remove thescrews holding the arms and put the servo arms at 90deg to the links (oras near as the fit allows).
3. Repeat #1 and #2 until you are cetain that you have the best 90deg angle on all servos.
4. Now adjust the link lengths for a level swash.
5. Repeat #1 and check for level. Repeat #1 & #4 as necessary.
This is not something to rush, take it slowly and do not leave out the repeats. With the greatest of care, things do still move while you are making adjustments.
