THE Royal Selangor Visitor Centre, the latest landmark in the city, is now open to the public.  Here, visitors can learn more about Yong Koon, founder of Royal Selangor and the tradition of excellence in craftsmanship he instilled.  After that, visitors can also get a glimpse of the pewter crafting process in the factory tour which includes rare insights into the intricate handiwork of crafting fine jewellery by Selberan, a Royal Selangor company.  For those interested in learning how to create your own pewter, you can do so by enrolling in the School of Hard Knocks.
