Arau

There are many interesting places and things to see in Perlis. Of special note in ARAU, the royal town, are the Royal Palace, fronting the main road and the nearby Royal Mosque which can easily accommodate up to 7,000 people in one prayer session. Arau itself, which has clusters of fruit trees and coconut palms interspersed among quaint residences is worth a visit.
