Geylang Town covers some 680 hectares of land with 32% used for residential purpose. It is located in the area which stretches along the Geylang Road and Changi Road. It is accessible by the Aljunied, Paya Lebar and Eunos MRT Stations.  An area formerly dominated by the Malays, Geylang Town is known for a number of festivities associated with the Malays. The Malay Village is located in the town. There are also many industrial establishments in the area.
