The Tampines Central Community Complex will be the first Community Club to be integrated with a commercial centre.  HDB is the owner of this complex and PA is only a tenant in the part of it that houses the Tampines Central Community Club.  The facade of the building has a blue and cream colour scheme, with some fancy gold trimmings.  Tampines Central Community Complex  offer one-stop shopping, dining and community facilities.  Tampines Central Community Complex was constructed at the request of the local grassroot organisations. This link would serve to provide residents / public at Neighbourhood 7 with direct access to the commercial facilities and community club at the Tampines community centre (CC) at the second storey. Tampines Central CC takes up about 2,260 sq m while the commercial units take up 4,800 sq m.  The commercial area consists of a supermarket, a childcare centre, a fastfood restaurant, a food court, five shops and two commercial schools.  The bridge will also provide a sheltered crossing for users during inclement weather.
