Singapore 02 - Marina East
The Marina East Area covers 140 ha of reclaimed land and is located within the Central Region. It is bounded by the East Coast Parkway to the north, East Coast Park to the east and surrounded by the sea to the west and south. NTUC Club Investments has won the bidding battle for the 60-hectare public golf course site at Marina East, which has a 20-year lease. Marina East is one of Singapore's most recently reclaimed areas. It abuts the East Coast Park, here seen on the other bank of the canal. Presently, the contrast between the two plots of reclaimed land could not be greater, but in a few years, the two will be virtually indistinguishable.
