To optimise tourist spending in Singapore, done through strategic partnerships with the retail industry and other relevant government agencies. Singapore Fashion Festival 2005 into a much bigger shopping festival, with participation by more international fashion houses, Singapore designers and fashion retailers. We also hope to see more regional fashion designers launch their collections in Singapore. Singapore has a team of talented designers called ’Fashion Designers Collective’ to create a new orchid fashion line that will appeal to tourists and locals, with price lines catering to different market segments.
