Cost more to send Christmas cards

Posting letters, parcels and greeting cards via snail mail will get more expensive from 18 December 2006. The cost of mail to any address within Singapore will go up by two cents to 25 cents. International mail will cost between 5 cents and 40 cents more. The last price hike was six years ago that Singapore Post has raised prices for domestic mail and the first time in 11 years for international mail. According to SingPost said the hike is due to the drop in people sending snail mail and higher operating costs. It will also cost 20 cents more to post registered mail. It now cost $2.20 to send a local registered mail. For once, it pays to send our your 2006 Christmas Cards early. Better still, send your friends and love ones a Singapore style e-card. Ho Ho Ho... Merry Xma$
