Yawn... Speakers Corner

Zzz...  Singapore’s Speakers Corner is suppose to be like England’s Hyde Park Speakers Corner which was established 1872 as a place for Free Speech in London. The space provided in Hong Lim Park for the Speakers Corner in Singapore has good shade from the equatorial sun and easy access to the MRT station nearby. The idea for a Speakers Corner in Singapore, government says, it is part of a plan to become more receptive to citizens’ views, and to make people more responsive to change.
