Singapore Flyer for $240 million only

It is estimated that the Singapore Flyer will cost a whooping S$240 million to built. It will be funded by 2 German Banks - Delbruck Bethmann Maffei (related to ABN Amro) and HypoVereinsbank. HypoVereinsbank (Bayerische Hypo-Vereinsbank AG) is the largest real estate financier in Europe and Germany’s second largest bank. The Singapore Flyer is the largest-ever foreign direct investment in a visitor attraction in Singapore - the ride may not come cheap. According to a quote on MTI.gov.sg - "When it opens, the Singapore Flyer is expected to draw 2.5 million visitors in its first year of operation, including 1 million from overseas. The tourism receipts arising from this project are estimated at $94 million in the first year alone."  That worked out to be S$37.60 per head for a 37 minutes ride or a dollar per minute of fun.  So be prepared to reach deep into your pocket for a ride.
