2008 Toyota Corolla Altis

The Toyota Corolla is a legendary car. Since the introduction of the first Corolla in 1968, over 30 million units have been sold for the last 40 years. Everybody who knows what a car is has heard of the name Corolla. Toyota seem very keen to change the Corolla image with the 10th generation (G10) sedan. The new 2008 Corolla is a dramatic departure from the succession of dull, anonymously styled models that people have come to expect. Is it beautiful? No. But. with the new design, finally a Corolla with a personality of its own. Previously Corollas always looked like Toyota had taken all the most boring design elements from other manufacturers and dulled them down even further to insure that there was nothing particularly outstanding or different.

Toyota Corolla 1968 - 2008. The new 2008 Toyota Corolla Altris have front corners have been given a curved design to achieve effective maneuverability. The backseat floor hump is minimized to create flat-surfaced legroom, enabling three adults to sit in the rear comfortably. The steering wheel has a telescoping function that allows its position to be adjusted front to rear for a comfortable driving posture. To enhance visibility, the top surface of the instrument panel is low while the front pillars have been extended forward and made slimmer. The Smart Entry & Start System employs a Smart Key to lock and unlock the doors and a button to start the engine remotelt.
