Singapore Airshow at Changi

Singapore Airshow, Asia's largest air show, is a global marketplace and networking platform for the military and civil aviation community. The event's six packed days will include Aerobatic Flying Displays, Airport Pavilion and Integrated Land Defence Pavilion. The Singapore Airshow 2008 was held from 19 to 24 February 2008. The Singapore Airshow was hosted in the brand new Changi Exhibition Centre in Changi, off Changi Coast Road. The Singapore Airshow was only opened to the general public on Saturday 23 February and Sunday 24 February 2008 between 9.30 am and 5.00 pm. The Singapore Airshow 2008 attracted some 59 of the top aviation companies in the world. Deals in excess of US$13 billion were announced and another USD2.5 billion worth of investments in services and facilities were also brought into Singapore during the show. According to its organiser, the sold-out show attracted some 90,000 visitors over the weekend. More than 30,000 trade visitors from all over the world also made it to the event.
